## Meaning and placement

### → run → access

The access route's id · an agent application (e.g. `codex` · `claude-code`) or an API provider id (e.g. `openai`) · ASCII kebab-case, nothing after it (the end is anchored with a lookahead so no validator admits a trailing newline). An open set: the engine's route registry judges it before inference, and no catalog is frozen here. A literal, never a `${{ }}` template.
